Web Hosting

A web host provides you with web space. Without a web host, your site will never reach the internet. Davesite.com explains; "By choosing a web host, your site will be available to the world all day every day." There are two types of web hosts: paid, and free. It is often best to use a free host when you first start your site, simply because it is free and if you decide you don't like your site any longer, there are no drawbacks to getting rid of it. However, with free hosting, there will often be ads on your site, and there are limits on how much web space you can use. Also, when you host your site with a free host, your URL will often be something like http://www.YourHost'sName.com/YourName or http://www.YourName.YourHost'sName.com. With paid hosting, there are no ads on your site, but paid hosting obviously costs money. You never run out of space, although you may need to spend a little bit more money if you use more space. Your URL looks more like http://www.YourName.com.

Upon testing these sites, I have one comment to make. Byet Host has a rather confusing interface, but if you can figure it out, it appears to be the best host. Also, the underscore represents any number. You don't get to choose which number.
